📖 The Story of a Journey 📖
The brand Atelier St Eustache has its roots in the heart of a journey undertaken by its creator, Violette, during a year of architectural studies in Tokyo.
For years, this country has been recognized as a true fashion institution in itself. Oscillating between tradition and Japanese pop-culture, Japanese creativity is expressed and discovered on the pavements of neighborhoods like Shibuya or Harajuku. Beyond an aesthetic marker, in this country clothing is used as a tool to distinguish oneself in society, to represent a belonging to an identity. Tokyo's fashion is thus claimed through colorful, original and sometimes even eccentric outfits.
But, what attracted Violette's eye in this eclectic universe, is the Japanese particularity to nest aesthetics and differentiation in accessories, and in particular: their socks. Thus, as soon as she returned to France, Violette launched her own brand of transparent socks, in order to dress women's feet with her creativity, and give back its letters of nobility to an accessory neglected in France.
💡 Inspired designs 💡
To create the designs of our socks, Violette draws her inspiration from the world around her, from her history and her background. Originally from the Lyon region, trained in Applied Arts and with a degree in Architecture, she has been enriched by the cultures of the world by living in London for several years, Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris ... and continues to be inspired on a daily basis by all that she experiences.
That's why our collections of transparent socks are minimal, uncluttered, architectural. They find their patterns in the urban planning of a city, their graphics in the lines of buildings, their colors in the typical dishes discovered during a trip, or in the surrounding nature ...
In short, we want our socks to be inspiring to their future owners.

Atelier St Eustache has since its beginning as a fundamental value the quality of its products. We work our socks in order to offer you a high quality product, comfortable, solid ... and that will amaze you every day, only that!
We are a human-sized company, so it is natural that we collaborate with companies that share our values. And we have paid particular attention to the manufacture of our socks. After a year of research in Europe, we found the perfect factory, and chose to set part of Atelier St Eustache's bags in Italy.
At the helm of production is a family-run factory, on a human scale, with a unique know-how, which has been manufacturing for the high-end world for several generations: just the ticket!

A size of the sock
What is a good pair of transparent socks?
It is first of all a transparent thread thick enough so that it lasts in time, but also silky so that it is pleasant on the skin. It is then a reinforcement at the toe and heel to prevent friction, and sometimes even a sole for even more comfort. And finally, it is a good elastic: tight enough to hold the ankle, but not too tight either to not cut the circulation.
From thread to needle
We work only with yarns made in Italy, and certified OEKO-TEX. The main materials used are polyamide for the transparent yarn, viscose and polyamide for the patterns on the socks, and polyamide or cotton for the toe and heel. Our choices of yarns are made mainly by the technical constraint and the complexity of manufacturing transparent socks.
